Terms of Service

SafariScam AI provides travel-safety awareness information: a searchable database of reported scams by city, and Simba, an AI assistant that helps assess described situations in real time. It is an informational service.

SafariScam AI is not a guarantee of safety. No search result, report, or AI response predicts or prevents what happens to you. Travel involves risk. You remain responsible for your own decisions, and you should always consult your government's official travel advisory before and during travel.

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity on your account. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable.

• Explorer (free): search scams by city, 3 urgent “Am I being scammed?” questions.
• Traveller Weekly (€2.99/week) and Traveller Yearly (€35.99/year): unlimited urgent questions and full access as described on the Pricing page. Prices in EUR, VAT included where applicable; payments processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime from your Account page → Manage subscription; access continues to the end of the paid period. No partial-period refunds, except where required by law.
• EU right of withdrawal: by starting your subscription you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right lapses once the service is fully performed; where it applies, contact admin@safariscam.ai and refunds are processed to the original payment method.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

Simba's answers are generated by an artificial-intelligence system, grounded in SafariScam AI's scam database and user-submitted reports. They are informational only, may be incomplete or contain errors despite our safeguards, and are not professional, legal, medical, or security advice. Simba identifies patterns — it does not confirm intent or guarantee that a situation is or is not a scam. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly — never rely on an app.

Users may submit reports describing possible scams. Reports are reviewed before publication and may be rejected at our discretion. You agree not to submit false, malicious, or defamatory reports. Submitting a report does not guarantee it will be published. We are not liable for the accuracy of user-submitted content, published or not.

You agree not to: scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our data; probe, overload, or circumvent access controls or plan limits; use the service to harm others or break the law; submit false reports; or misrepresent SafariScam AI's outputs as guarantees. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

The SafariScam AI name, brand, design, database, and content are our property or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own travel. Third-party marks belong to their owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided “as is”; we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events occurring during your travel. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence), or your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continued use constitutes acceptance. You may close your account at any time from your Account page. Sections that by nature survive termination (liability, IP, disputes) survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Consumers retain any mandatory protections of their country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Courts of Madrid, Spain, otherwise have jurisdiction.
